Service Description

Get ready for pure adrenaline in the Dorob National Park dune belt at Long Beach. Your adventure starts with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation in Walvis Bay or Swakopmund. From there, we head to the designated dune driving area at Long Beach a spectacular stretch of rolling sand dunes between the two towns. This tour takes place inside Dorob National Park and does not include Sandwich Harbour or the ocean-facing dunes. After a short safety briefing, we lower tyre pressure and enter the dunes in a fully equipped 4x4. For approximately one hour, enjoy thrilling dune driving as we climb steep slopes, cross sharp ridges, and descend sweeping sand bowls. Expect excitement, laughter, and incredible desert views. Following the drive, we spend another hour sandboarding on carefully selected dunes. Lie-down sandboarding for maximum speed challenge. No experience is needed your guide will assist and coach you throughout. Bottled water is included to keep you refreshed.
