Our Sandwich Harbour Sundowner is more than a drive it’s a journey into one of Namibia’s most breathtaking coastal landscapes. We collect you directly from your accommodation in Walvis Bay or Swakopmund and head south in a comfortable 4x4 toward the iconic Sandwich Harbour, deep within the Namib Desert. As the scenery shifts from salt pans to towering dunes, the adventure truly begins. Our experienced guide navigates the soft sand dunes where the desert dramatically meets the Atlantic Ocean. Along the way, we stop for photos, short walks on untouched sand, and moments to simply take in the silence and scale of this extraordinary place. As sunset approaches, we set up a beautiful picnic in a sheltered dune overlooking the ocean. A small table, light snacks, and chilled champagne are prepared while the sky turns shades of gold, pink, and deep orange. You relax, sip champagne, and enjoy your picnic as the sun slowly disappears beyond the horizon. It’s peaceful. It’s romantic. It’s unforgettable. After sunset, we make our way back through the dunes and return you safely to your accommodation leaving you with memories of a truly magical desert experience.
