Full-Day Tour – Swakopmund & Moon Landscape 08:30 – Pickup at Your Accommodation Swakopmund/WavisBay Your guide will collect you at your hotel or guesthouse in Swakopmund. Morning Drive Through Swakopmund We start the day with a slow drive through town, passing some of Swakopmund’s most iconic historical buildings: Woermannhaus and its tower Hohenzollern House Altes Gefängnis (Old Prison) Other forgotten colonial-era landmarks that still whisper stories of the past. Comfort Stop Short refreshment and bathroom break before leaving town for the desert. Enter the Moon Landscape We head into the dramatic valleys of the Moon Landscape, stopping at several viewpoints to admire the otherworldly scenery that looks like the surface of another planet. Picnic in the Moon Landscape Enjoy a light picnic lunch under shade, surrounded by the silence and vastness of the desert. Visit the Welwitschia Plants Continue deeper into the desert to discover the legendary Welwitschia mirabilis, some of which are more than 1,000 years old, a true Namibian natural wonder. Scenic Drive Back On our way back, we stop at a few more viewpoints for last photos of the desert’s unique shapes and textures. 16:30 – Drop-Off at Your Accommodation Return to your hotel in Swakopmund, with the rest of the evening free to relax or explore the seaside town.
